The International Convention on Nation-Building,
Wellness, and Peace (ICNWP)
Nation-building is a crucial process for all countries to achieve sustainable development, stability, and prosperity. It involves developing people in the country, building and strengthening the institutions and systems that underpin a country’s economic, social, and political development.
Wellness, on the other hand, refers to the overall state of physical, mental, and spiritual health of individuals, communities and countries. It includes factors such as healthy lifestyles, access to quality healthcare, psychosocial support, etc.
Peace can be defined as the absence of conflict and violence, and the presence of social justice and harmony.
Organizing International Conventions on Nation-Building, Wellness, and Peace presents a crucial opportunity to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to explore the interplay between these critical areas.
It is evident that external factors resulting from the nation-building process can impact individual wellness. Similarly, the wellness of individuals in a country can affect the success of the nation-building process. Additionally, peace plays a crucial role in both nation-building and wellness by providing a conducive environment for development. Integrating nation-building, wellness, and peace into the same event recognizes the essential role in which these areas work together in achieving economic prosperity and sustainability, social cohesion, stability and political freedom.
