The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan
The main goal of the Assembly of People of Kazakstan or APK is to implement the national policy, ensure social and political stability in Kazakhstan and increase the efficiency of cooperation between state institutions and civil society in the field of interethnic relations. APK has greatly contributed to the establishment of Kazakhstan’s model of a multi-ethnic society which is aimed towards the strengthening of interethnic and interfaith consent. Under the leadership of the President President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr.Narsultan Nazarbayev, together with the dedication of the 382 members of the Assembly, APK is a key player to move the country, with over 130 ethnic groups, forward as a strong multiethnic high-income country. It is inspiring as a public entity where intelligence, wisdom with virtue contribute to true nation-building in today’s world.
