The 6th International Conference on Nation-Building 2022
“Post-Crisis Nation-Building Strategies in the World of Flux”

8 - 9 December 2022
Bangkok, Thailand

The COVID-19 pandemic spread rapidly across the world during 2020 and has since continued unabated. The several mutations of the virus have caused serious concern and have made the pandemic difficult to predict. Each country has put its full efforts into the vaccination of its citizens aiming to gain herd immunity but the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over and it is unlikely to be the last pandemic we experience. It is generally accepted that we must adapt so that we be able to live with this virus and learn how to best protect ourselves. The world needs to move to the next stage of living with the pandemic – the post-crisis era. This will not be a return to pre-crisis normality, it promises to be a very different situation, it will be a state of flux. The repercussions from the pandemic require thoughtful and concrete solutions and it is time to think about all aspects of post-crisis strategies. Read More!

The COVID-19 pandemic has spread across the world since December 2019 and has continued into 2022. The changes caused by COVID-19 have gone beyond public health issues and have had a far-reaching impact upon the economic, business, political, social and personal aspects of daily life, as well as a lasting effect on international relations. Even though COVID vaccines had been developed and vaccination programmes began in many countries around the world, the pandemic has not been completely cured. This is because the virus is constantly mutating and this prevents the vaccine from effectively protecting us from the virus and the world still has to try to find a way to live together with the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, leaders and experts in this session will discuss the trends of the pandemic and what the solutions for this issue may be.
