Datuk Prof. Dr. Adeeba Kamarulzaman is President of the International AIDS Society (IAS), Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya, and Vice-President of the Malaysian AIDS Council. She is well recognized for her dedication to assisting the medical community in combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic. She worked tirelessly to guarantee that HIV/AIDS patients received excellent care from the country’s health-care system, as well as to protect future generations through the proposal of successful harm-reduction program for addressing the HIV-AIDS transmissions. She has a compassionate heart for those in need as well as the greater society, and because of her strong dedication and tireless work, she has saved the lives of numerous HIV/AIDS patients and enhanced the country’s health care system.
