Katie Stagliano is the founder of Katie’s Krops, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the youth of today to  start and maintain vegetable gardens of all sizes, with the objective of donating the harvest to help feed those in need. The organization provides funding and support to its young growers while also educating them on how to grow successful and environmentally friendly gardens. Over the years, thousands of residents have benefited from Katie Krop’s. Young people run more than 100 gardens in over 30 states. More than 39,000 pounds of food grown in Katie’s Krops gardens has been donated and also, during the COVID-19 Pandamic, the organization provided 10,000 meals for residents and distributed over 2,100 seed packets to over 270 families in 23 states.  Katie’s Krops continues to expand nationally and internationally in an effort to encourage and assist young people to share its passion for hunger alleviation and provide a sustainable solution to food shortages
