Economic, social, and technological changes, particularly in healthcare development, have resulted in societal disparities. At the same time, the modern lifestyle has led to an increase in life expectancy, accompanied by a growing prevalence of age-related diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and cognitive impairment. This has added to the burden of caring for the elderly, which falls upon families, communities, and the government. The International Conference on GoldenZone Wellness (ICGW) 2024 is based on the theme “Wellness in the world of disparity” The objectives of this conference are to review the intricate relationships between genetics, wellness and health disparities, as well as the development of equal access to healthcare resources and the reduction of health disparities related to lifestyle factors. Community involvement and social support in achieving good health and reducing health disparities will be explored by examining community interventions, grassroots-level initiatives, and the role of social determinants in shaping health outcomes. It shall also consider healthcare policy for promoting health; reducing health disparities and its impact on health outcomes; strategies to support comprehensive policy; and the promotion of collaboration between sectors. If we cooperate together in addressing these disparities, we can work towards a world where everyone can enjoy the benefits of good health and well-being, regardless of their background or circumstances.
The conference will convene representatives, including leaders and experts, at local, regional, and international levels from all corners of the globe to exchange ideas and engage in discussions concerning health disparities. This conference holds significant importance in the development of an inclusive system that supports individuals in seeking solutions related to healthcare access. Its aim is to stimulate collaboration among stakeholders, both beneficiaries and contributors, to enhance human resources and develop quality systems. Ultimately, the goal is to create an equitable society without disparities and ensure that the population enjoys an equal quality of life.
